Characters: Chapter 1-5

     Mrs. Frisby
Mrs.Frisby, the protagonist is"... the head of a family of  field mice..." (p.3) that"... through luck and hard work, to keep her family ... well fed." ( p.4) She sets out on a journey to Mr. Ages house to find a cure for sick little Timothy as "... woried about Timothy and hoped that Mr. Age ... help him."(p.13) On her way back from Mr. Ages she discovers a crow caught on a fence"...she could not leave the foolish crow to be killed..."(p.24) so she decides to save the crow. When hiding she pops out in front of sleeping Dragon and"...shi scolded herself for being so careless."(p.36)
       Timothy
Timothy is the second child in Mrs. Frisby family of field mice, he is"... the smartest and most thoughtful of hers children..."
       Teresa
Teresa, is"... the oldest..."(p.7) of Mrs.Frisby of field mice.
      Martin
Martin is the second oldest of Mrs. Frisby family of field mice and is "... the biggest, a strong quick mouse..."(p.7)
     Cynthia
Cynthian is the youngest of Mrs. Frisby family of field mice and is "... a little light headed."(p.8)
     Dragon the Cat
Dragon is"... an enormous, with a huge, broad head and a large mouth full of curving fangs, needle sharp."(p.21)
     Mr. Ages
Mr. Ages is an old"... white mouse who liveds across the farm ..."(p.12)
     Jeremy Crow
Jeremy the crow is a "... very young..."(p.23) black crow who is saves by Mrs. Frisby when he is caught in a fence,Jeremy thlls Mrs. Frisby that he owes her a favour after she saves him.
      Paul Fitzgibbon
Paul Fitzgibbon is the oldest son of farmer Fitzgibbon"... at fifteen..."(p.34)
      Billy Fitzgibbon
Billy Fitzgibbon is the youngest son of farmer Fitzgibbon"... at twelve..."(p.34)
     The Old Shrew Women
The Old Shrew Women is a shrew that Mrs. Frisby meets when she is out walking and while talking she makes a "... remark that was illogical."(p.32)
 

Setting

         In the book, Mrs.Frisby and the Rats of Nimh by Robert C. O' Brien. Mrs. Frisby and her family lived in"... an anderground house in the vegetable garden of a farmer."(p.3)
